Pruning an elm bonsai - video
With proper bonsai care, an elm can quickly develop into an attractive bonsai tree.
As elms (e.g. the frequently cultivated bonsai of the Chinese elm) grow very quickly, pruning of the bonsai is one of the most important measures in bonsai formation.
In this video, a long-neglected bonsai of a Japanese elm (Ulmus japonica) is radically reshaped. In addition, the bonsai is repotted (with root pruning).
Have fun watching.
